Meet one of this years Top 25 Canadian Immigrant Award Recipients of 2022 presented by Western Union Canada, Harman Singh. Harman is the CEO at Breton Ability Centre.
Her top tip for other newcomers to Canada is: “It takes about six to eight years to settle. It requires resilience and a strength to take the punches with grace, and not give up. Canada is a land of opportunities. But there are no shortcuts in life. Opportunities are created by you, and you must seize every one of them — no matter how big or small. Lastly, hardships and failure are necessary to help us learn, and only make success sweeter.”
