Hilary Fitzgerald is a Project Manager and Entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience. She has spent much of her career working on multi-million dollar projects in the local area. Some of the larger projects in Cape Breton have included her role as the Financial Leader for the Sydney Tar Ponds Project; Project Coordinator and Cost Control Manager for the Muggah Creek Remediation Project; Document Control Manager for the design and engineering phase of the Sydney Steel Modernization; the Project Administrator, Training Coordinator, Payroll Assistant and Cost Control Assistant for the construction phase of the Sydney Steel Modernization; Document Control Manager and Cost Control Assistant for the construction of the Point Aconi Generating Station.

Hilary has a solid background in the engineering and construction industry. She also owns and has operated Fitzgerald’s Restaurant in Boularderie, Cape Breton for the last 13 years. In addition to her formal education, Hilary has worked, hands-on, with several methods of cost control and document management systems.
