ThriveAbility at Breton Ability is a place of empowerment—a welcoming space where individuals with varying abilities build skills, discover opportunities, and shape their path to greater independence. Here, people come together to learn, work, share stories, form friendships, and create lasting memories.
Through meaningful social, recreational, learning, and employment experiences, the Centre supports individuals both from Breton Ability and the broader community in navigating life, pursuing goals, and contributing their talents.
When you buy the products created by our trainees at ThriveAbility, the Ability Collective, the Ability Cooperative, or The Print Shop—or when you donate to The Bottle Depot or Janice’s Boutique—you are investing in inclusion. Your support helps create opportunities, celebrate abilities, and build stronger, more connected communities.

Breton Ability has launched a Pilot Project that offers a series of learning, life skills, and wellness-focused sessions designed to support personal growth, independence, and community connection. This pilot gives participants the opportunity to build practical skills, explore new interests, and strengthen confidence in everyday life, while allowing our team to learn what approaches work best as we continue to evolve our programs. Sessions are guided by choice, inclusion, and respect.
